The Iowa Medical Society (IMS) is the statewide professional association for Iowa allopathic (MD) and osteopathic (DO) physicians. Established in 1850, IMS represents 6,800 Iowa physicians, residents and medical students. We help professionals develop their skills and further their careers by providing access to unique and relevant content and exclusive member services. IMS also works to protect the health of Iowans through a variety of projects and activities at the state and national levels. Today, IMS exists to assure the highest quality healthcare in Iowa through our role as physician and patient advocate.

The Iowa Physical Therapy Associations mission is to serve the membership and the public with excellence and integrity by advancing and promoting the practice of physical therapy through the coordination of advocacy, education and resources.

The mission of the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association is to serve its members through outstanding educational and fellowship opportunities and to provide value-added services, at the annual meeting and throughout the year.
