New Mexico

Founded in 1886, NMMS is the professional organization for medical and osteopathic doctors in New Mexico. While NMMS activities and emphasis change, the mission does not. As stated in the NMMS Constitution, the purposes of the Society are to extend medical knowledge and advance medical science, elevate the standard of medical education, secure enactment and enforcement of just medical laws, uphold the principles of medical ethics of the American Medical Association, and to keep members of the profession always cognizant of their unique influence on society.

The New Mexico Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association exists to optimize the health, mobility and quality of life of the people in New Mexico by advancing physical therapist practice. Our vision is to provide excellence in leadership, advocacy, and professional development for physical therapists in New Mexico. Physical therapists are the recognized practitioners of choice for movement, health, wellness and function.

The Workers’ Compensation Association of New Mexico offers educational and networking opportunities for industry professionals throughout New Mexico. We also support higher education scholarships for the children/dependents of workers who, through a workplace accident, died or became permanently disabled.
